Born in Germany and then bounced around the world while his father served in the United States Air Force, James learned to appreciate the many wonders that he saw. Art, archetecture, nature, and even the beautiful nuiansces of different cultures. Art, above all, played a major role in his life even when it was forced to a back by life.

While James loves oil painting, his work is mostly digital where he works with Photoshop, Corel Painter, Poser, Vue, Bryce, Lightwave, Silo and other digital and 3d programs. While he designs print ads as well as product labels to pay the bills, he is constantly trying to blend reality with fantasy and see how well he can blurr the lines.

James lives in Texas with his wife, five children and numerous dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and livestock.
